Hüseyin est un jeune homme qui vit avec ses grands-parents dans un village de Thrace, en Turquie. Ses deux grandes passions sont sa clarinette et Müjgan, une infirmière. Bien qu'Hüseyin soit heureux de sa vie, de sa musique et de ses rêves pour Müjgan, un événement inattendu le contraint à quitter son village. Il se retrouve à Istanbul où il trouve d'abord du réconfort dans sa clarinette, puis dans l'amitié de la chanteuse Firuzan.
